John Bishop joins the TARDIS team in series 13 following the departure of Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh.

 It has today been announced that comedian John Bishop will be joining Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill in series 13 of Doctor Who as his name is the next to be added to the confirmed cast list. Following the departure of series regulars Ryan and Graham, played by Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh respectively, Bishop will join the 'Fam' later this year as his life "becomes embroiled in the Doctor's adventures", according to the Echo.

Bishop will play a character named Dan and began filming his first series in late 2020.
