A new Doctor Who themed science exhibition will tour the UK from next, it was revealed today.
The BBC have today announced a new Doctor Who exhibition that will tour the UK starting in just over six-months time. The collection of exhibits will "explore the science behind Doctor Who and will give fans a chance to experience the Doctor’s adventures from a scientific perspective."
The exhibition, created by Sarner International, the company behind the Doctor Who Experience, will feature eight 'zones', each showcasing a different scientific angle on the show. Little more is known about the "ground-breaking venture" (as Doctor Who put it) however we do know that we won't have long to wait as the nationwide tour kicks off next May, with an international tour planned to follow.
BBC Studio's Event's Director, Paula Al-Lach, said she was “delighted to be working with Sarner again, following their creation of the Doctor Who Experience. It is really exciting to explore Doctor Who from this perspective and have the opportunity to take the exhibition to fans globally.”
Doctor Who: Worlds of Wonder - Where Science meets Fiction will begin touring the UK in May 2022. Tickets available from October 2021.
